I took of Ripley's shirt yesterday and she has a waist...she is actually losing weight...She still weighs a million pounds and is solid...but she has a waist...

We have had to change food for Truffle and Bitsy - they were both losing too much weight so we are taking them of the healthy weight food gradually and putting them on regular food. We are at 2 reg scoops to 1 healthy diet and they are still losing.

We changed their food the Eagle Pack...Coper hasn't been scratching as much since we started with the anchovy one...they each get two cups a day...Pozie usually only eats a cup a day and Coper and Ripley devour theirs...but heck...all is good if she loses a little...

We use Purina One and they all seem to be doing well. Surge gets 1 cup a day and is now maintianing at a svelt 23 (at one point he was 35) lbs. Bitsy was up to 22 and is down to 19, Truffle was at 21 and is down to 18. Both of them need to be about 20-21. They get 1 1/2 cups a day. And they all get green beans. We want to see what the change in food does to their weight before we start fiddling with how much they get. But they are definately too skinny at the moment.

That is what I used to have to kids on...Purina One Naturals...but Coper used to chew his paws raw...and then I went to the pet store and talked to the owner and so far...so good...Good luck with the weight gain...

It really seems funny to talk about weight gain and pugs - usually we are worried about getting their weight down not up. So far so good - nobody seems to be having any reaction at all they like it and it likes them.

Holy crap ! Dora gets 1/2 cup a day and Brutus gets 2/3 cup a day! And she is still fat! Oy vey....

Princess only got 1/2 cup a day and we were constantly battling her weight. The others seem to be doing ok but remember - Truff and Bits are still puppies - under 2 so they still need alot more.
